THE GRAND LODGE OF ANCIENT FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF DENMARK

A year ago “The Grand Lodge of Free Ancient and Accepted Masons of Denmark” was founded with the sole purpose of preserving pure, ancient and honest Freemasonry in Denmark.

The original four lodges have expanded considerably and with more than 350 members we can now establish lodge No. 15 and No. 16 in the autumn. The work involved has been quite extensive, and many members from around the country have contributed with knowledge and practical assistance.

Thanks to this valuable assistance, The Grand Lodge has  already been established with a full Masonic organisation build on the many aspects and the pure old Masonry principles. The extensive work is a great success, but it doesn’t stop here. If this new Grand Lodge it to continue as The Masonic Grand Lodge in Denmark – managing the original distinguished Masonic work based on individuality, freedom to speak and self-belief, it must have a vision.

The group has worked out a vision, and also a mission and a way to fulfil this vision, all of which have been approved. During the autumn of 2008, we visited all our lodges, and the vision, mission and a complete development plan have been presented for The Grand Lodge and will – in the nearest future – be made accessible on the website. This way the members can find inspiration and ask questions regarding the development plan during the follow-up visits to the lodges.

The Grand Lodge’s “vision” states what is to be achived by 2013- with the aid of this development plan, and The Grand Lodge’s “mission” states the purpose at the Masonic work.
